Online pedagogy

One main goal of the Future Mathematics project is to develop an online pedagogy of engineering mathematics that encapsulates pedagogical resources for mathematics' online learning, teaching and assessment by providing effective teaching and learning methods and strategies for ICT-supported mathematics learning.

The mathematics online pedagogy combines best practices for meaningful utilization of e.g. ICT-tools, learning environments and mathematical software in mathematics learning and teaching context. Furthermore, the online pedagogy provides a collection of pedagogical approaches, best practices and useful resources for designing and implementing web-based teaching and learning of mathematics.

Previously, we selected the following emerging trends that will be more explored during the project lifetime.
- flipped classroom
- learning analytics
- short videos / screencast
- gamification
- online assessment

This blog is all about online pedagogy in addition with the latest news related to the project working. Enjoy.
