The project has followed the international trends

NMC Horizon Report lists yearly the trends that an expert panel agrees are very likely to drive technology integration in higher education during the next years. The NMC's 2018 report listed the trends such as:

*Proliferation of Open Educational Resources
*Growing Focus on Measuring Learning
*Redesigning Learning Spaces

FutureMath project provides a versatile set of OERs planned and produced in the project. OERs are available through project's mathematics learning platform MLP. MLP encapsulates resources for measuring engineering mathematics' learning. Indirectly, the learning resources produced in the project, provide possibilities to redesign learning spaces. In that sense, the project has very much followed the current international trends in technology integration in higher education.
